Allow me to introduce myself—my name is Cristina Wiley, and I am truly passionate about the art of beauty and transformation. My journey as a makeup artist began in my beautiful home state of Hawaii in September 2011. From an early age, I was captivated by the power of makeup—not just as a tool for enhancing features but as a means of self-expression, confidence, and creativity. That passion led me to pursue formal training in Hair & Makeup Artistry at Susan Page Modeling, where I refined my skills and deepened my understanding of the craft. My career started humbly, assisting talented artists behind the scenes, soaking up every lesson, and perfecting my technique. With dedication, perseverance, and an eagerness to learn, I worked my way up to become one of Susan Page Modeling’s Lead Hair & Makeup Artists. This role opened doors to incredible opportunities, allowing me to collaborate with some of the most inspiring photographers, designers, models, artists, and organizations. Each project, whether it was a fashion shoot, runway event, or editorial campaign, fueled my love for the industry and reinforced my commitment to making every client feel their absolute best. Beyond the glitz and glamour of the industry, one experience stands out as a defining moment in my career. Alongside a team of fellow HMUAs, I had the honor of volunteering at a hospital, offering hair and makeup services to children recovering from cancer. Seeing the joy on their faces as they caught a glimpse of themselves in the mirror was indescribable. That day, I truly understood the deeper purpose of my work—beauty is not just about appearance; it’s about empowerment, healing, and the ability to make someone feel special, even in the most challenging times. For me, being a makeup artist is more than just a profession; it is my passion, my art, and my way of touching lives. Every client, every face, and every brushstroke is a new opportunity to create something beautiful, to inspire confidence, and to remind people of their own unique radiance. I look forward to continuing this journey, pushing creative boundaries, and making a lasting impact—one face at a time.
